A workshop for all those curious to put a little groove and new things in their Scottish. We will explore lots of body tools (feet, pelvis, back, abrazo), in the service of rhythmic work based on different types of changes of support and direction. Maybe even at the end, we will see how to use all that in the mazurka…
About Laure Fourest :
I have been teaching Argentine tango and folk ballroom dances for a dozen years, all over France and Belgium. My dance pedagogy is mainly built around the care and respect of the body in dance, and the concrete exploration of what the term “musicality” implies in dance!
In my folk couple dance workshops, I call on what tango implies in terms of body awareness and infinite possibilities of movement for two, to enrich one’s dance in folk, both in terms of quality of connection and freedom of improvisation.
