For several years now, Perrine Vrignault, singer and accordionist, has been exploring traditional Poitevin singing with disconcerting freshness. For this brand new quartet of dance music, she calls upon three musicians as free and adventurous as she is. The “two Maximes”, Dancre and Barbeau, offer formidable hypnotic rhythmic paths. Paul Weeger, with his trumpet, brilliantly brings a new breath of fresh air, participating in this great collective trance.
It’s a dance that sticks to the body for the happiness of all, and since we don’t have to do anything, it can also be listened to with our eyes closed.
