Platane is the inspired encounter between polyphonic songs, percussion and electronic music.
For a ball or concert, in French and Occitan, Platane interprets and reappropriates a traditional repertoire setting collections in motion, assuming various influences to invite to trance.
Inspired by listening to archives and singing in its living practice, by mixing three voices with rich timbres and an atypical instrumentarium, the group explores varied, colorful, buzzing sound universes, with singular harmonies. A music that is based on the pleasure of interpreting a free and constantly evolving repertoire.
Attached to the cadence specific to dance music, Platane explores the intimate links between song and dance in an immersive approach, and invites to dive into a singular traditional sound.
