Watch out for something new! New Aquitaine has its own traditional music group in which the bourrée rubs shoulders with the avant-deux and the rondeau. A ball rich in varieties of dances led by Arnaud Bibonne on the boha (bagpipes from the Landes de Gascogne) and singing, Benoît Roblin on the hurdy-gurdy and Hervé Capel on the chromatic accordion.
The sound is massive, the drones melt into the danceable melodies, the subtle harmonies colour the whole, all with a groove and a flawless energy.
